The return is picking right coach to help your daughter grow as a young lady and that when your daughter becomes a great person after she is done playing the game
I just want her to enjoy it and go as far as she can.
Solid advice, coach! I’ll take it a step further as a parent with 1 athlete going into her 3rd yr and 2 athletes that will waiting for calls this September. FIND OTHER WAYS TO CREATE VALUE FOR YOUR CHILDREN! Their value isn’t the result of outcomes. VALUE PROCESS OVER OUTCOME.
The ROI IMO is learning resilience, responsibility and self confidence before they head to college, and if they’re lucky enough to play there leadership.
No way I could deal with the parents. Many many years ago when I played travel ball, if parents caused any issues, their kid was no longer on the team.
The return on the investment is their daughters opportunity to continue to play the game she loves WHILE receiving a college education.
