Today, I led my team to the Senate in response to their summons. Once the session was adjourned, we were released, and I proceeded to Senator Edwin Sifuna’s office for a productive discussion regarding our planned "Linda Mwananchi" activities. It was encouraging to see the city remain calm as I walked to my office to address the media. It is time we recognize the significance of this day; Saba Saba ought to be a public holiday.

Britain’s March Against Antisemitism is a peaceful protest. Unlike some other marches, where arrests are commonplace, our attendees respect the law. There was one arrest at our march, and it was of a passerby alleged to have assaulted an attendee. We understand that this woman swore at the crowd, threw a drink at someone, and allegedly hit them. Metropolitan Police have requested that the victim come forward. If you have any information, please contact the Metropolitan Police or us at investigations@antisemitism.org. We have also been told of people making racist comments towards people leaving the march, including on Lambeth Bridge. Please contact us if you have information about any such incident.
