Dear Solomon, this post is useless without you naming and shaming the said “powerful people”.

They're not only cutting down Ugandans' future, but also destroying it. Those ruling Uganda came to kill, steal, and destroy, leaving nothing but devastation in their wake. Ugandans have never faced such enemies/thieves before, they're destroying everything.

U need to check the one on top of Mt Rwenzori i.e Rwenzori national park. Its equally disappearing courtesy of an increasing population. There will be consequences for this recklessness. Someone's sleeping on their job.

At this point, I wonder what it will take for Ugandans to collectively rise up. To be honest, I was someone that believed in democracy and peaceful revolutions but a few years in this country have taught me that it will take a miracle to achieve that.

Unfortunately we are going to loose ZOKA forest if people don't rise up because those who are logging and burning charcoal are really powerful and being protected by the security personnel undermining Presidental directive on commercial charcoal burning.

Does the the General who is threatening to behead people know this? He should use that energy to protecting this forest
