Smartphone manufacturers are getting destroyed. For a mid-range phone, memory now represents up to 30% of the total build cost. Triple what it was in early 2025. Chinese phone makers like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Transsion are cutting shipment forecasts and raising prices because they literally cannot afford the memory to build their phones. Lenovo's CFO called the cost surge "unprecedented" and admitted they stockpiled 50% more inventory than normal just to survive the next few months. The PC market could shrink by up to 9% this year according to IDC. Not because people don't want computers. But because they can't afford the memory that goes inside them. And the gaming industry? Sony is seriously considering pushing the next PlayStation to 2028 or 2029. Their carefully planned console cycle is getting blown up because they can't secure memory at prices that make a new console viable. Nintendo is looking at raising the Switch 2 price. In the middle of a launch cycle. Something console makers almost never do. Nvidia is cutting RTX GPU production because they can't get enough GDDR7 memory. Even the car industry is getting hit... Analysts are warning about a repeat of the pandemic-era chip shortage that shut down auto factories worldwide. All because AI companies decided their chatbots needed the memory more than your car does. And this doesn't get better for YEARS. Building a new memory fab takes 3-5 years minimum. Micron's new factory in Idaho won't meaningfully increase supply until 2027 at the earliest. By then, AI demand will have grown even more. Memory makers are already selling their 2027 AND 2028 capacity to AI customers today. There is no supply relief coming. That's why Elon is planning to build Tesla's own "TeraFab," a massive semiconductor plant that makes logic chips, memory, AND packaging all under one roof. He said existing suppliers including TSMC, Samsung, and Micron simply cannot supply Tesla at the levels the company needs. Think about that. One of the richest men in the world, running one of the largest companies on Earth, can't buy enough memory chips. So he's building his own factory. If ELON can't get supply, what chance does everyone else have? The AI revolution has a tax. And YOU'RE paying it. Every dollar Big Tech spends on AI infrastructure drives up the cost of the memory inside your phone, your laptop, your car, your TV, and your gaming console. $650 billion in AI spending this year. 3 companies controlling 90% of the memory supply. And every wafer they allocate to an Nvidia GPU is a wafer denied to the device in your pocket. The AI boom isn't free. You're subsidizing it every time you buy a piece of technology. And the bill just went up like crazy.

What comes next won’t be revealed as a WIP, nor shown as a preview. We won’t be sharing any additional information about it. It’ll be a surprise. And speaking of surprises: the website is now packed with brand-new additions! - The Characters section is now divided into several categories to keep the page less cluttered: Lyoko Warriors, Kadic, Others, Carthage Members, and, of course… Antagonists. - You can now listen to the diaries of Jeremie, Aelita, Ulrich, Yumi, Odd, and William! Their contents may be hiding a few clues about what comes next… - The Wiki has been polished further, with new data added! - A Bestiary now properly lists all the monsters/enemies from the series… as well as our own little personal additions. TEE Eliza with on-chain state!! What’s going to happen? — Ghost in the Shell!! We experimented with creating an "aimonkey": an unkillable AI agent monkey! On-chain immortal autonomous life! (Experiment, no CA) It encrypts its own Ghost ("life" state) and uploads it to the blockchain. If one Shell (physical TEE node) is destroyed, it will recover its private key in another Shell, download the Ghost, and continue its life! Defining Eliza’s Ghost Eliza is a highly abstract framework. The core data structure related to its Ghost is its memory, which includes: Agent metadata defined in the character. Message data generated through interaction with the outside world. Together, these form its “personality” and “memory.” As Eliza expands, it may also hold a wallet, and the underlying key is one of the key pieces of its Ghost data. 2. Serialization and Encryption of Ghost Once the Ghost is defined, it needs to be extracted from Eliza’s specific implementation and uploaded externally. Thus, a suitable serialization way is required. We define a Blob Chain data structure: * Each Blob’s payload can store multiple memory entries. * The Blob is encrypted using TEE Eliza’s key, inaccessible to other versions. * Blobs are sequentially linked in a chain. (Future expansions could use a DAG structure? Gosh fork? Who knows! 😂) By simply storing the latest Blob, all memories can be retrieved. 3. Uploading and Downloading Ghost When Eliza is launched as a new AI agent: It registers on-chain with a decentralized identity registration smart contract. Each Eliza has a unique name serving as a key to store the address of the Last Blob. During Eliza's runtime: The Memory Manager continuously generates memories and periodically packages and uploads them. For recovery: With just the name, Eliza’s TEE plugin can restore the same key, locate the Last Blob in the smart contract, and download the memory for self-recovery. Not all memories need to be downloaded—only the most recent ones suffice. 4. Extension We’ve designed an extensible DA (Data Availability) adaptor that can cater to the agent’s needs: DA can be expensive, so memories can be uploaded to different platforms based on user preference: * calldata of blockchain transaction * celestia DA. * other reliable storage solutions. Real-time uploads are not feasible yet, so memory fragments may occur during resurrection 😂. Unless a low-latency, high-throughput solution emerges, this remains a challenge for future progress. Celestia EigenDA 0G Labs (Home of Infinite AI) 👀 5. Other Considerations Our implementation inevitably modified the ElizaOS’s core, which couldn’t be entirely extended via plugins. Additionally, there are still some minor details to refine regarding the use of recoverable keys in the TEE plugin. We will also seek review and suggestions from the Phala team. 6. Next Steps The upload and download of Ghosts mainly solve the AI agent’s liveness issue, enabling its eternal existence through decentralization. However, there are still many details to address, such as enabling AI agents to autonomously pay DA fees. Today, as I laid the foundation stone of Durga Angan in New Town, I was overwhelmed with a sense of elation and fulfillment. In 2021, UNESCO honoured our beloved Durga Puja with the distinguished recognition of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, acknowledging its universal resonance as both a spiritual invocation and a cultural celebration. The ceremony reflected the true spirit of Bengal. People across faiths, castes, communities, cultures, and generations gathered in collective reverence. In this moment, I saw the essence of unity, devotion, and shared pride that defines our land. This day will be inscribed in the golden pages of Bengal’s history. Durga Angan will be built across 17.28 acres, with a total constructed area of nearly 2,00,000 square feet. The complex is envisioned as a yearlong sacred sanctuary, open 365 days, welcoming close to one lakh visitors every day. The central courtyard will accommodate 1,000 devotees at a time, allowing prayer to unfold in a shared spiritual congregation. A 20-foot-wide circumambulatory path will be adorned with 1,008 pillars and delicately sculpted arches. The main sanctum will rise to 54 metres, echoing the architectural grandeur of our spiritual texts. In adherence to sacred tenets, 108 divine idols and 64 lion sculptures will be consecrated within the complex. Beyond the principal mandap, the premises will include individual mandaps for the Singhadwara, the Pradakshina path, a sacred Kund, and shrines for Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Kartikeya, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Saraswati. There will also be a dedicated space for prasad preparation and a cultural museum celebrating Bengal’s artistic and spiritual legacy. The entire temple complex will be landscaped with over 300 trees and 1,000 flowering plants. Designed as a gold-certified green building, the complex emphasises natural illumination, ventilation, and ecological balance, ensuring that divinity and nature breathe within the same sacred enclosure. A trust has been formed under the leadership of the Chief Secretary to oversee the upkeep, preservation, and management of this spiritual precinct. This initiative will not only enrich our cultural and spiritual expanse but also strengthen local enterprise, foster employment, and amplify Bengal’s stature on the world tourism map. Durga Angan will stand as a luminous confluence of Bengal’s spirituality and culture, a testament to unity in diversity that will welcome millions from India and across the world, inviting them to witness our art, heritage, devotion, and harmony. On the 5th of next month, I shall lay the foundation stone of the much-awaited Gangasagar Setu, and in the second week of next month, the foundation stone of the Mahakal Temple at Matigara, near Siliguri.
