@FenellaBowden @WalesOnline A reply! In short: we know it’s a tough user experience on mobile, we are sorry, we hope it will be improving soon! Genuinely thank you for supporting our journalism in the mean time.

It's not social media. It's social money. We have the tools to turn your content into your career. #freelance #gig #business #workfromhome

@WalesOnline I never click on @WalesOnline or @northwaleslive links. The signal-to-noise ratio is just not worth the effort.

@WalesOnline Reminds me of this from a few years ago. No improvements in that time.

@WalesOnline It is absolutely awful.

@WalesOnline It’s a turn off for so many. It’s even difficult to read the ads which I suspect are only seen as an annoyance to most. Don’t they realise that cutting down their clutter by 90% will actually increase revenues and readers. More equals less.

@WalesOnline Never read any of their articles because of it, it's not worth the effort of trying to manoeuvre around the site.

@WalesOnline Could not agree more. I don't click on any @WalesOnline articles anymore, it's just a nightmare with endless pop-ups and advertising.

You could try ‘reader mode’ in your browser - alternatively, the authors could just turn ads off for their own articles to help the readers experience, they just choose not to! 🤦🏻‍♂️

@WalesOnline At the top of the page near the browser there’s AA. Press it. Select reader mode takes all adds and such away so it’s slightly easier to read

@WalesOnline It used to be that the mobile version was marginally more readable than the desktop version (which is unusable) but now the mobile version is just as bad

@WalesOnline A lot of journalistic sites are so dependent on ad revenue, you can barely see the news; maybe one little box with a paragraph.
