There’s a lot of redemptions in Star Wars, but this moment from The Bad Batch where Crosshair ultimately decides to leave The Empire is still one of the most emotionally powerful ones IMO. Absolutely incredible storytelling, and some of the best character development that I’ve seen in any Star Wars project.

This entire sequence from the end of ANDOR where Krennic interrogates Dedra is extremely intense, but beyond that, there’s something so spine chilling about hearing the words ‘Death Star’ spoken so casually for the first time in this series. The narrative decision to have every major event and/or Imperial atrocity seen throughout this series ultimately connect back to The Empire’s strongest weapon is just as terrifying as it is brilliant. Even wilder to think that those plans were exposed to The Rebellion all because Dedra essentially forgot to clear her desktop and emails.

This moment from the second season of The Bad Batch between Commander Cody and Crosshair has to be one of my favorite Star Wars scenes in recent years, and that’s even beyond just animation. In less than a minute, Cody emotionally conveys one of the greatest tragedies to come from The Clone Wars: that in the end, Palpatine made sure that the Clone Army were capable of becoming just as robotic as the Battle Droids they spent years fighting against.
