🚨 People across the South need to start preparing for a potentially HISTORIC Winter Storm this weekend. 🧊Models continues to point toward a Major Ice Storm combined with a multi day period of Snow and Freezing Rain, with wintry precipitation lasting from Friday into Monday morning in some areas. That duration alone raises MASSIVE red flags. 📊 Nearly every major weather model and its ensembles are now on board with this scenario, showing widespread Ice Accumulations that could reach 0.5 to 1 inch in spots. Anything over 0.25 inches is destructive, with a high risk of widespread power outages and roads that are undrivable. 🌨️ Snow Totals could also be significant, with areas that normally see NO SNOW ALL YEAR, picking up 6 inches or significantly more in parts of the South. 📍 The areas most at risk include Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Virginia. The vibrant pink/purple coloration with black spotting and gold dusting is not natural in the wild; it's the result of selective breeding. They’re still the same as regular Pacman frogs: sedentary, will eat anything that fits in their mouth (including fingers if you’re not careful), and require high humidity and careful husbandry. Beautiful, but definitely an advanced-level pet!

Heartbreaking story of 2.5-year-old Dilroz (Diljot): This innocent little girl was the youngest and most cherished member of her family, loved beyond words. A divorced neighbour, Neelam, driven by jealousy, lured her away on a scooter with the promise of a fun ride. She took Dilroz to a deserted wasteland, repeatedly struck her with a brick, stuffed mud into her mouth to silence her cries, and buried her alive. The family and police tracked Neelam through CCTV footage within hours, but by then it was already too late. Dilroz had suffocated in the shallow pit where she had been buried. Calling it one of the "rarest of rare" cases driven by sheer malice, the trial court sentenced Neelam to death by hanging. Neelam has now appealed before the High Court, seeking to overturn that sentence.

The Long Island Expressway was shut down in both directions, and the F train suspended service due to station flooding at Jamaica-179th Street.
