I see the first reference more as Shadow Generations Biolizard boss fight reference sinds there he also jumped on ball of energy during chaos control and ended with pre-gained doom strike

That first one is from Shadow Gens' Biolizard fight iirc

The way shadow powers up into super is also the same as his chaos blast during the intro to shadow the hedgehog.
