I'm Day One #TeamBiden, the same mistakes made tonight, were made early in his last campaign and people wrote him off then, staffing changes were made and he won. And they're needed tonight. This isn't a game. It's time for chops.

Yes! Town halls are great! It was very unnatural with no voters or audience in the room other than the film crew working the debate and the useless moderators that did no fact checking! President Biden showed up from traveling around the world doing the job of President, has a cold, kept his commitment to debate, didn’t duck out like Trump would have if the role was reversed! I’m proud of President Biden!

Thank you! You nailed it. I was very dissapointed in Biden tonight, but I know of his historic legislative accomplishments, his experience in dealing with world matters & his competence. I knew Tapper & Bash would be terrible & they were. #VoteBidenHarris2024

@kimberrry Thank you! I thought maybe part of the problem was he was over prepared. A townhall is a great idea. Joe is best is when you let Joe be Joe. If you saw the after party, he was extremely energetic and his voice was strong bc he was being Joe!

He was definitely overprepared and Biden's strength is connecting with people. The preparation and format did Joe no favors and the bedwetting by Dems is about to make this all very unhelpful.

I agree. Plus the after party microphone heard him clearly. CNN's microphone was scratchy voice, volume way down and then President Biden's pauses seem to be he couldn't hear the question, like there was a long distance delay you see on TV weather people on World News Tonight.
