Debbie’s confusion and quiet panic is masterfully played by Sue Devaney in this scene. #Corrie is hitting all the rights notes with this storyline so far. It will strike a chord with so many people living with dementia and their families.

My mom's assessment was over 2 hours which she found gruelling. It was awful to watch. I knew she had alzheimers before she had the MRI. Frightening!

So sorry to hear this, it must be triggering to see it happen onscreen.

My Brother in law has dementia those scenes last night are reminiscent of what happened to our Rob when he went for his assessment 🥲

I don’t think any of the rest of cast could even begin to give what she is to this story

Corrie has some fine actors, some of the finest on British television, but this storyline needed someone like Sue - so universally loved - to have the kind of impact it’s already having. I hope the research continues to be spot on.
