Mayor Bass: Just finished working with our city attorney to file a lawsuit—because we have to stop this mess. The idea of having troops go through the park and disrupt a children’s summer camp, or drive through the streets and just pick people off—people don’t know if a kidnapping is happening or what. So our city attorney is leading the way. We are filing a lawsuit and calling for an injunction to stop this. We need to remember who we are as a country. I’m very clear about who we are as a city, and I’m clear about my job—which is to make sure this city is safe for all Angelenos, regardless of when you came here, what country you came from, or why. We’ve got to stop it. We’re going to stand strong, because this city is united. We are not divided, and we’re not going to let anybody divide us.

I got a lot on my mind… We need to have real conversation on the left about many many things including why we continued to give Graham Platner multiple passes and look the other way despite all kinds of allegations since October. This is not just about dropping out the race. Yes he should do that. AND, we need a bigger conversation. We need to also have convos about Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Green and the recent death of a young Black boy in Mississippi. It’s all connected. I’ll just simply say, white supremacy is not going to save us. Patriarchy is not going to save us. We need to have real talk about white supremacy and patriarchy, because it’s a disease that affects us consciously and subconsciously and it’s systemic across all Americas institutions. We need Medicare for all and all the things we are fighting for and we need to cure ourselves of patriarchy and white supremacy. Time for a process of truth, reconciliation, and collective healing!

I’m from Canada, but the men and women I serve with here are my family. Yesterday, I watched a video of one of my closest friends dying. There was nothing we could do to save him. As Arabs, we need to understand that Israel and the West are not our oppressors or enemies. We, Arabs, are our own worst enemies. We, Arabs, are our greatest oppressors. We, Arabs, have killed and oppressed a million times more of our people than the West and Israel can ever do. It is not Israel that married off my mother when she was a child. It is my people who did. It is not the West or Israel that has been bombing Yemen for the past decade and killed 400,000. It is us, Arabs, who did it. It is not the Israel that implanted Islamic extremism in the East and the West. It is our mosques, it is the books we worship, it is the Imams we follow, it is what we learn and what we teach. It is not the West that forces us to treat women like commodities. It is our people. And most of all, it is not the West or Israel that doesn’t value Arab lives. Platner: I think that if we are going to have a politics that is going to be representative of regular people, if we are going to have a politics that's going to allow us to move past the polarization and frankly, the division that we find ourselves in, we really need to understand that people are capable of changing. We need to we need to keep hope alive, that people that we may disagree with today, that we can find common ground with. Like if you listen to what I've been saying on the campaign trail across the state, that's what I'm trying to talk about. It is important to me that we realize that most of us, most Americans, have far more in common than we think we do, and we need to give each other grace, and we need to give each other space to grow and to evolve. Because if we can't do that, then I'm not really sure what the purpose of any of this is.

When people see you investing in good union jobs, they feel hopeful. They feel hopeful for the future, and they can say firsthand, “I’m seeing the change. no matter how bad belift promotion is, i hope many people will come to enhypen with a feeling like "oh.. they really deserve to be seen and loved by many people as artists and humans." it hurts watching them stay in this “almost” zone, always close but never fully pushed to where their potential could actually take them. and as fans, it’s exhausting too. being disappointed in the agency, feeling powerless about things we can’t control, yet still must to showing up for the things we can push. some days it really feels like we’re holding this together with pure love and loyalty. but at the end of the day, k-pop is always a two-way relationship. idols give their all to fans, and fans give feedback and support so the artists don’t fade out and can actually go long-term. we’re allowed to be mad at the company. we’re allowed to feel tired. but the least we can do for the boys themselves is not give up on the parts where fans can still push. i just hope enhypen know that even when things don’t go their way, there are many real engenes who truly see them. who believe they’re meant for more than just being “almost big” and who are still here out of genuine faith in who enhypen can become. you've worked hard ENHYPEN 🫳🏻🤍

🚨NAFO Please Read🚨You are not alone🚨 We are at a pivotal moment of Good VS Evil My story: So............. as one man, I have made little difference to help Ukraine, like the rest of us, I have done my part on Twitter working my NAFO 9-5 alongside my real world 9-5, donating when I can, fighting disinformation. Whilst trying to live a normal social life and trying to be a good family man and father, like many of us, son's, daughters, mothers, dad's grandad's and grandma's, aunties, uncles.... Normal people, not soldiors. And as one person, this hasn't been much. Not you or me. None of us, alone, have made a single difference. Our Story: You feel week... because your voice isn't loud enough, not enough people see or understand your anger and hatred for Russia and the fucking evils that they do. You feel frustrated because the people around you, such as your family and friends, don't understand why this fight is so important to you? You live in a foreign land to Ukraine, why is it your fight, why should you care, why does it bother you? There are no bombs dropping on your families when you sleep....... You go to work and you don't have to run to bomb shelters midday rather than taking lunch whilst getting coffee..... Who gives a fuck right? But you, NAFO. Have something inside yourself, Love, Compasion, Knowledge and Understanding. You do not live blindly. You can not look away from the fucking evilness of the Russian scumbag dictators. This is why you are not alone, and why we are all the same, and why this is a family. This is why we love and respect each other. Every day we care, and we do small things, small things that multiply, and together we achieve big things. Together, we have been fucking fierce and mighty, a force to be reconned with. Something that cannot be stopped. We know within ourselves that we will never stop fighting and doing what we can. People may not understand us. But i'm reaching into my heart and telling you. What YOU do. YOU the person reading this. You have changed opinions. You have stopped at least one person believing Russian propaganda. YOU have saved at least one life, Atleast. Through your passion of being a good fucking human. You have made a difference in this world. Never underestimate the power of us. The gods among us that started charities, and took physical action, we must always help them in any way we can. You have no fucking idea how much a $2 donation means to them, a £5 donation rather than buying a coffee, they turn our everday money into life saving money. The smaller donations are the backbone to many of these charities, they keep them going. You would not believe the power of many. Please donate and give what you can. If you cannot give, then I admire you more, if you struggle yourself, then it's more commendable to care about people across the world struggling in different ways rather than thinking about yourself. But one thing we can all do is share the cause we support. Give them exposure, and make them understand we believe in their causes. The pretenders are the people who say they care about our country but have been sitting on their hands for the last eight months during this Trump regime. The players are the folks who get up every day and truly fight for our democracy. I mean, what we saw out of Newsom today — that’s what this country needs. It’s not just lip service. JOONGDUNK PRAEW PODCAST #DearMyselfxJoongDunk : so can i ask this—after working together and going through both good and bad times, hardships, happiness, and success and embracing all of that as JoongDunk… how does being “JoongDunk” feel to you both now? 🌻if you ask me right now i’d say it feels really good. we understand each other more now. of course there were times when we didn’t understand each other we just talk things out—like what the other person this khun (🌞) doesn’t like and then i simply don’t do those things. for me i’m not someone who wants to have problems with anyone in the first place. so if i know he doesn’t like something i simply won’t do it. and honestly it goes both ways—we share what we don’t like and then adjust to meet each other halfway 🌞what JoongDunk is today huh? it has changed a lot. there have been many versions many eras. in the early days we were just two innocent kids who didn’t think much. but now we’ve grown up—we’ve been through a lot together. there was even a time - we’ve been at a point where we almost breaking up… there was a time when it felt like we couldn’t go on together - like it was going to end for sure — 100%. but in the end, we have to thank the seniors and the adults around us—we were lucky to have people guiding us : and today how much do you rely on each other—in work and in life? 🌻it’s to the point that we can’t even count the days we don’t see each other We see each other almost every day—especially lately. it’s basically every day now. it’s become a habit, but that’s exactly what can make us careless 🌞when we’re that close and see each other all the time sometimes we don’t realize that the things we do unintentionally might hurt the other person. so the closer we are the more we have to care there was a time when we had to sit down and make a deal about this. cause we got so used to working and being together we stopped greeting each other. like, we’d come to work, walk past each other - sit doing makeup spacing out… and then we realized “hey this isn’t okay” so we made a rule: from now on whenever we come to work, you have to hug me once or say hi or touch me—something to let me know “ i’m here” It’s just a small rule but it makes everything better 🌻and same when leaving—we have to say goodbye like “see you” 🌞you can leave first that’s fine but you have to tell me first “please tell me”

Yesterday I posted that gluten free pasta is now the SAME PRICE as standard pasta in Sainsbury's… 45p cheaper than it was! Well, we have an update and it’s GOOD NEWS 🥳 Tesco have now followed suit in reducing the price of their gluten free pasta to 75p - such great news 😍 What we need now is all the other supermarkets to hopefully do the same AND also consider other staple items such as gluten free bread, flour and cereal. Coeliac_UK’s campaigning to make gluten free food more affordable and accessible is going to really help this 🧡 What do you think? ⚠️ Don’t just read the good news & think ‘ohh wonderful’ - keep shouting (politely!), so many don’t realise how many of us have to follow a gluten free diet, how it’s not a choice. We need to show everyone how many of us there are & thus how important these price changes can be for a huge number 💪

Obama: I am not immune to anger or doubt. But I do know this when we lose faith in each other, when we stop believing that voting matters… we open the door to the most ruthless or the most careless, or the most fearful among us who see some groups and some people as more equal than others and see government as nothing more than a way to divvy up the spoils and punish enemies, and keep those who are different in their place. I do not believe that is the story of America that prevails in the end.

RETHINK VAXXING It’s my personal belief that childhood and infant vaxxing is one of the greatest evils there is on this Earth. And I’m not alone. Just listen to what other people shared when I spoke about it. I know it in my heart what I’ve seen and experienced, what I’ve researched and it’s time for people to break the spell that the medical industry has cast over us. Those that are ready to hear will listen and understand it to be true. It is not fringe theory or conspiracy - there are many people who have seen the truth. We in our intelligent bodily systems can rely on nature to take care of our health - and these chemical concoctions do not support that. The benefits of health that are attributed to historical vaxxes are instead the result of nutrition and sanitation. As a population we are injected more than ever and yet we are sicker than ever - what does that tell you? It became an incredibly lucrative business - ask why these manufacturers are legally protected from the results of their “medications”. Everyone can make their own choices but I hope you can feel with your intuition that this practice is wrong and does not support health.

Another opportunity to gather information today. We can not continue to focus on NPK only and loading the system up to magical ppm levels, and then wonder how we are going survive. We need to focus on a season long approach with those fertilizer dollars. How do we feed the back half as well or better than the first half of the growing season? I’m Not saying NPK is not important to your success as it is. But the big 3 can’t be the only focus. Do you Audit your fertilizer program? I feel we should all be asking ourselves these questions. As change is needed.
