Here is a small highlight of the final boss in the Great Hunt raid. If you're just someone who loves raiding even if its just in Destiny 2, I recommend you give it a watch. All the little details are what make this fight sick. Njourn tearing a hole in reality, the way she changes rooms on teams, the escape section before the boss tries to literally body slam you & then nuke you to death in that order. Peak.

I got to the end of the new challenge mode in Zombies, and I've gotta say... absolutely one of the worst boss fights I've ever seen in a video game You take 30-45 minutes to get to the fight, where you are immediately frozen. From there, you take on the EE boss in his final stage, but you can't damage him without getting presents on the map So you need to somehow: light all 4 fires, shoot the snowmen, kill zombies with cyrofreeze, and get lucky with weapon drops & PaP drops... all while moving at a snail's pace with the boss throwing you around and filling the arena with giant death piles Even if you do somehow get the fires lit and somehow get decent weapons, you then have to widdle down the big frozen bullet sponge I just seen Dalek and his friends kill it and it took 30 minutes of them tickling it to death🤣 absolutely nobody beat this in playtesting, if they tested it at all Almost no one has videos of the fight bc no one can beat it, or want to bother trying Just terrible

Now everything is clear: 1) Why the violence happened Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes (“Mencho”) was captured alive, then flown to Mexico City for medical treatment. He died en route from wounds sustained during the arrest. Unaware of his death, the cartel demanded that the forces who captured him surrender and release Mencho. This triggered the initial violent reaction. They went out to blackmail the government with violence. 2) Why the violence stopped The government deployed the army and fought back effectively, but that alone doesn’t fully explain the complete halt of the violence. The cartel could still have continued ambushes, drone attacks, kidnappings, etc. to pressure the government. The violence stopped because there was no longer any incentive to fight. Mencho was dead. There was nothing to gain and everything to lose. So no reason to fight and die for nothing. 3) What’s next? The cartel now has a new boss with a clear incentive: make money and run a smooth operation. He has zero reason to confront the government. Any escalation would invite a violent response that could destroy the already weakened cartel before he fully consolidates control. Especially after the government mobilized and deployed the army on the region. I'm finally mapping out the HUNK fight because the more I understand it, the more I hate it. Sometimes in Phase 4 after he slashes the pipe, HUNK can just come out of you parrying his attacks into him performing a 4-hit combo instant kill. Did you know that? Lv 2 Hatchet Phase 1: Parry, Slash, Slash Clashing hatchets, 7800 HP Phase 2: Close Space, Parry, Slash, Slash, Make Space -> Parry, Slash, Slash Hunk Trips and Shoots, 5700 HP Phase 3: Free hit (Slash) -> Parry, Parry, Power Slash, Slash, Slash Slash Hunk Slashes the pipe, unless a particular bug happens where his event tree is broken and he won't do it (you're fucked if this happens) Phase 4: Step Forward, Power Slash, HUNK Parries You, which manipulates him into attacking only once next time. Parry, Power Slash, Slash, Hard Falter. Keep slashing until 1 HP. Back off, he comes to you, HE has to initiate his own death animation. Goes off script all the time because he's a piece of garbage. I'd honestly rather just use an RPG against him. Capcom, please fix your fucking bosses, I already hate Sekiro boss BS, but it's extra super cool when I get to deal with broken event trees and random untelegraphed combos that instantly kill you.
