I’m not sure Gvidas Gineitis is quite the style of player many seem to be casting him as. I don’t think he profiles best as a ball-winning midfielder or destroyer type. He likes to cross (takes set-pieces), has some athletic capabilities in carrying the ball and has a decent range of passing. Reasonably good in the air too. He seems to work hard defensively, but his efficiency rate in defensive duels is very poor. If he is a target, in my opinion it’s because of his physical profile and willingness to go forward and get the ball in the box.
