I found myself watching this particular game earlier tonight, and it struck me how extraordinary it was. It featured one of the most unique video referee decisions ever made in Super League history, a decision so rare that it has not been seen before or since. Eagle-eyed referee Ian Smith suspects that Brent Webb may be offside in a position which is nicknamed “downtown” by the match officials. Video referee Thierry Alibert confidently made the crucial and correct decision that would shape the outcome of the match in Bradford’s favour. Interestingly, Thierry is coming back to work with Phil Bentham and the RFL match officials department for the new 2025 season.

I am grateful to every US Senator who made a morally strong choice today. Such a choice matters right now, not just for Ukraine but for every nation whose independence is a target for Russian strikes, current and planned, including those planned for the coming years. Putin's ambitions have never been limited to Ukraine. His goals are far broader. This means that our defense solidarity must be even broader. Brandon Johnson said the quiet part out loud: Hire based on race. That’s not progress. That’s discrimination repackaged. We have millions of highly qualified Americans, who have put in the work, earned the degrees, built the skills, and deserve to be judged on merit. Not skin color. Not checkboxes. Aqua having less character development than Galleria, Chanel, and Dorinda is a writing issue, not a Kiely issue. Actors don’t write their own storylines. And let’s not act like Aqua was the only character whose personality changed throughout the movies. Galleria was basically Raven Baxter in The Cheetah Girls 2, but we’re not gonna clock that tea? Y’all can like whoever you want, but reducing Aqua to “she yelled for taxis, liked fashion, and had pen pals” completely misses what made The Cheetah Girls work. The magic was four different personalities, four different voices, and the chemistry they had together. Kiely has publicly said more than once that she’d be down to do another Cheetah Girls movie regardless of past history. So if she’s not in this reunion, I genuinely hope it’s because it was her decision. If she was excluded, that would be a disappointing look for a franchise built on sisterhood and unity.
