Bill Pulte is a bold reformer, and a successful executive. But perhaps even more importantly, President Trump trusts him. He's not a career intel bureaucrat who weaponizes the DNI against political enemies. That's the point. The Senate Republicans pretend they're qualified to judge national security. Look at their resumes, now look in the mirror. Bill Pulte would go in, shake up the place, and clean it out. The politicized, weaponized intel community needs exactly that.
