so they are like little bags that hold snacks for the IC

Yep.. Usually used on the power input or in very small values in the output to eliminate TX noise.

FUCK DECAPS I HATE DECAPS

Hahaha not if you are making a motor driver.. The crazy MOSFETs will suck that battery like a blackhole 😂

Fancy

So, the capacitor should be able to charge faster than each cycle of the clock? I’m getting this right?

It charges faster or it atleast puts some load if the value is smaller than supply needed. Using the right value and low ESR ones with correct trace width can do tje job properly. Or can be added in parallel with bigger value ones, in that way acts as a filter and supplier.

Ahhh ok

It's way more than that. Please correct me, if I am wrong. Return Current, Impedance, Voltage Stability and Transient Current. This video is way too simplistic for my taste.

All of that starts to show up when you are a PCB designer 😄 This is simple for people who don't know exactly what is a decoupling capacitor is. The terminology gives you nothing at first fi you don't know.

idk man, it's too simplistic, too tiktoky brain rot for my taste. it only satisfies the dopamine receptor, but not any curiosity. Feranec is still the king here when it comes to getting you into it. Make you just curious enough to throw yourself into it.

Tiny capacitor, full-time job keeping the motor driver sane.
