Deepak Dev- You had one job - to use this in Mohanlal's intro at the minimum in Empuraan. I still dont understand why you would create such a fine score for the teaser and not use it anywhere in the film !

How beautiful was his work in L, I mean, he did magic using violins in that walk to funeral scene. In L2 he totally disappointed me except for the starting and ending title tracks

He said in an interview that prithvi wanted him to create new tracks for teaser and trailer, and said to not use them in the movie since he wanted to keep those under the wraps. Deepak wanted to but prithvi didn't.

As per DD , it's Prithvi decision that don't use any score in the film for Teaser and trailer

I felt the same, the background score in the trailer and teaser had so much impact..still can't understand how they approved this as the final score especially for the elevation scenes.

3 things i felt cud have made Empuraan better: A) A better bgm for Mohanlal‘s entry. A lot of other places DD has cooked but missed a few places. B) Fewer Slow Mos and action sequences. C) KA and ZM( considering hw powerful they both are) going after Bajrangi felt underwhelming

When I watched the teaser I thought DD has done something above Lucifer. And after watching the trailer got a clue that it's not going to be that great.

Absolutely. The BGM was a completely let down. So many opportunities to raise the level high but turned out to be damp squib. #Empuraan

@PrithviOfficial background score was a big let down. Don't bring DD again for a mass film. He's good for feel-good/ family drama's. That's it. Also Stunt Silva. 🤒
