The firefighter, Gavyn Gallagher, was seen wrapping himself around the deer while others pulled them in with a rope. "District 1 crews were able to save a deer off of Loon Lake this morning. Teamwork included Fish and Wildlife officers along with local residents," the Stevens County Fire Department said in a statement. The deer was later released. Video: Daniel Poleschook via Storyful
