Thank you all for the feedback on our defense short video clips! We've listened carefully and made adjustments - not only to the hit stops but also to the visual effects. Both have been significantly toned down, resulting in more fluid and realistic visuals overall.

All four defensive techniques (Block, Parry, Perfect Parry, Half-Swording) are performed using a single button - either by tapping or holding it. We call this "simple complexity": the controls are super easy to learn, but they open the door to deep, dynamic, and satisfying combat interactions.

putting the hungerford harness to action is a thrill to see :)

Agree 😊

smooooth, looks really fun aswell

Making the combat fun is our number one priority! Parrying enemy attacks is super rewarding, especially when you manage to land Perfect Parries from time to time, and when you know that a chain of successful parries can lead to the spectacular Half-Sword riposte!

this is so hot

Выглядит потрясающе!!!

Feels like watching that Dequitem YT channel gamified, just need grappling with a rondel dagger & Buhurt brawling.

You should replace the blood spurt on that 2nd hit with sparks. Otherwise looking very cool!

Yes, definitely will do! The hit impact effects is something we didnt really touched yet, we were mainly focusing only on the parry effects right now. But yea, when we finish them, the vfx of the hit will depend on the surface you actualy hit, so in the full plate armour case - sparks.

Do different weapojs have different Parry Timings? (as in, for example, parrying with a Longsword has a parry window of 240ms, while the Polehammer has 120ms)

Good stuff, as you are going for a mix of game and accuracy may want to spend a little time looking at youtube, people like robinswords, and a few others. Lot's of techniques from historical manuals on display there. Cheers.
