1" inch of rain, 24 hours. Seems simple right? Only took 9 months at the farm but the drought boycott beard is over!

Pune's rain has entered revenge mode. Every crazy downpour feels like it's saying, "Tell me again how the excess jambhul crop was a sign of drought? Tell no!”

Tropical moisture + slow front = scattered to numerous heavy rain and storms. Localized flooding is a negative, but this setup is a definite positive from a drought standpoint.

#SomeoneTellKhalwale we still remember Bomet! Parliament could not DID NOT pass a resolution to bring Rain. Parliament could not DID NOT debate over how to open heaven. Parliament DID NOT bring RAIN when Kenyans were facing a terrible time, the worst drought in 40 YEARS!

Massive debris flow traveling at lightning speed in eastern TN! The preceding drought conditions followed by days of rain ahead of Hurricane Helene set the stage. This is incredibly rapid for a debris flow.
