definitely need more documentaries about completely random events that are free of trauma, drama, and crime

Read Flotsametrics if you're really serious about it. A ship full of Nikes crashed and gave birth to a whole science.

thank you for the recommendation!

here in brasil we had cans full of w**d washing up on shores, in the 80s, a ship full of zaza was going to the US and they had a stop in brasil, the police were aware of it and planned to capture the crew and the cans when the crew threw everything in the sea, the rest is history

OMG OMG THANK YOU 🥹😭

No problem! I love this account! ❤️

Not to be that person, but I'ma be that person: The plural of Lego is Lego. Without the s.

I live in Cornwall and the Lego still washes up, that boy with the octopus was fairly recent.

He totally missed the rubber ducks that helped model ocean currents.

My dad collected those Japanese glass ball net floats!😲

The moment he said he wants to travel only to US and European countries he kinda lost me. Especially Africa could be interested place to visit and see how those stuff effects local communities.

IDK I imagine stepping on a Lego at the beach has got to involve a little bit of trauma 😋 but yes, definitely fund this guy @CanonUSA

@lys_onya

I actually love this idea. It would be such a relaxing documentary to watch. I really hope this guy gets his wish! If I were more physically able, I’d absolutely do this but more for sea glass and fossils.

I used to work for a lawyer that dealt solely with commercial freight, shipping & trucking. You would not believe how many containers that have fallen overboard & then their contents start washing up on shore in all these different places. Sneakers, Legos, Garfield phones & more.

Holy shit is that why every house I entered as a kid had those dang balls? I didn’t realize it was such a regional thing.

Rouge Japanese balls you say 🤔

I especially love that a kid is out there.

How did I KNOW what this was going to be about this exact story as soon as I saw the cargo ship

Oh pollution, plastic in the ocean how great. This fucking generation.

Hell yea

Just recently watch a YouTube video on a guy with a museum for beach combing, those glass balls are coveted apparently

Haha all sea themed is awesome 👏 🐙

I’d watch the heck out of a doc about the history of sandwich art or the world’s loudest rubber duck. Sometimes my soul just needs pure, wholesome nonsense, ya know? Give me 90 minutes of people documenting the world’s largest yarn ball or competitive chair stacking and I’m set for the week. 😂 We all need a break from heavy stuff sometimes!
