Had a guy in my platoon get shot through the neck, went down like a sack of potatoes. We thought he was dead. Was conscious a few minutes later and was able to move a few hours after. Round went through his neck and missed all the arteries and nerves. He just had spinal shock, was back to full duty 2 weeks later. Literally a fucking miracle.
