So how is one finger hydrated but not the other? I did the same experiment to myself and one of my fingers is also not as hydrated as my other fingers. Pretty good way of knowing if you’re dehydrated is: 1. Get dizzy standing up or stretching. Seeing spots, stars, blackout vision. 2. Headaches. 3. Uneasy stomach. 4. Losing your breath easily. 5. Feeling tired.

To perform a hands dehydration check, follow these steps: 1. Skin Pinch Test: Gently pinch the skin on the back of your hand and pull it up slightly. Observe how quickly the skin returns to its normal position. In well-hydrated individuals, the skin will snap back quickly, within a second or two. If you're dehydrated, the skin will take longer to return to its normal position, indicating that your body needs more fluids. 2. Color of Urine: Check the color of your urine. Clear or light-colored urine usually indicates proper hydration, while dark yellow or amber-colored urine can be a sign of dehydration. 3. Sensation of Thirst: If you feel thirsty, it's a good indicator that your body needs more fluids. However, thirst is not always a reliable indicator of dehydration, as some people may not feel thirsty even when they are dehydrated. 4. Frequency of Urination: If you're well-hydrated, you should be urinating about every two to four hours. If you're not urinating frequently enough, it may be a sign of dehydration. 5. Dry Mouth and Lips: Another sign of dehydration is a dry mouth and lips. If you're experiencing these symptoms, you may need to drink more fluids. 6. Headaches and Dizziness: Dehydration can cause headaches and dizziness due to decreased blood volume and reduced oxygen flow to the brain. If you're experiencing these symptoms, it's a good idea to drink some water and see if they subside. 7. Fatigue and Weakness: Dehydration can also cause feelings of fatigue and weakness. If you're feeling unusually tired or weak, it may be a sign that your body needs more fluids. Remember that these checks are not a substitute for medical advice. If you're experiencing severe or persistent symptoms of dehydration, it's important to consult a healthcare professional. #dehydration
