This "slight" Maekar change is so good. I know this will make a lot of book purists upset but I absolutely loved it. We had a lot of comedic moments in the show, some gross, but this was hilarious and it compliments the hell out of both characters. Review out tomorrow #AKOTSK

im sorry but this is a very good example why detailed, full of context leaks from “extras” and randos on set are fake or full of shit in 99% of cases… if an actor cant place a scene based on dialogue, I promise you an extra that saw 30 seconds of a scene (if) can’t draw context from it and tell you what is going on in the episode/season/with characters. you can get: outfits, maybe a line or two if they even manage to hear it and actually remember it, what they THINK is going on and if they’re composed enough to pay attention to a clapperboard and ADs, maybe an episode and a scene number (that is usually not the case tho)

I asked Leslie Iwerks about her favorite scene in 'Disneyland Handcrafted,' and she pointed to a moment showing workers pulling the Mark Twain that captures both the difficulty of building Disneyland and Walt's determination to make it happen. "My favorite scene is the guys pulling the Mark Twain. Who knows exactly what the issue was, but they were all trying to pull it, and it's a little symbolic scene of just how hard it was and how hard they worked and their teamwork. Also the fact that they were up against all odds. Everyone doubted this could happen, but they were all saying it was an exciting time because Walt willed it to happen. He told everybody it could happen and that they had never done this before, but they could do it. And so it all gave them confidence that they could pull it off, and they all mobilized under Walt's singular vision to get it done. Little backstory: When I started laser engraving, I wanted to be the guy who stood out. I didn't want to do the same generic crap that 1000s of other engravers were doing. I also said that I would NEVER EVER do drinkware. There's lots of soccer mom type trash out there and I didn't want to be another one of those engravers. But after making and designing morale patches, I saw that there was a clear lack of what we are doing on the drinkware front. So, I decided to give it a shot. I spent thousands on R&D to land on the Polar Camel mugs we use. Completely lead free, and hold liquids at temp for HOURS. Instead of focusing on making cheap drinkware with generic designs, we took our already proven designs and engraved them on both sides, with the quality you would expect from us. And now I have 100s of mugs from test designs, and I'm running out of cabinet space! HALP! But seriously, I'm glad that we started offering them, because it's yet another medium for us to show off our craft, that can be used on a daily basis to spread the art that we make, and for that I am thankful.
