Have you ever read an actual transcript? Its possible no one could understand them. However, presidential transcripts belong to the people of the United States. The Presidential Records Act (44 U.S.C. § 2201–2209) requires that all presidential records, including transcripts, be preserved and transferred to the National Archives at the end of a president’s term. In the future, it would be helpful to remind ourselves what incompetent fools said.

#DementiaDon is unfortunately in mental decline. Isn’t there a presidential records act (not that they will follow the rules) but isn’t there a preservation clause about keeping all transcripts and documents as it relates to presidents?

Democrats also fought the release of the Hur/Biden transcripts and tapes, claiming that since there was no prosecution, full transcripts and tapes didn't need to be released to the public.
