Have you ever read an actual transcript? Its possible no one could understand them. However, presidential transcripts belong to the people of the United States. The Presidential Records Act (44 U.S.C. § 2201–2209) requires that all presidential records, including transcripts, be preserved and transferred to the National Archives at the end of a president’s term. In the future, it would be helpful to remind ourselves what incompetent fools said.
