Deltarune Chapter 6 - BATTLE FOR FREEDOM

Song composed by @/OnlyAnAlex !!! This battle's context is that Seam asks Kris for help to purify the Shadow Crystals, transforming them into the Pure Crystal. Kris needs to battle the broken dreams of each crystal, cleansing them of their agony.

How it works: you can pick a Shadow Crystal to purify first, and then you go through their respective secret bosses's attacks. You have to keep hitting the crystal with the AQUA soul until it breaks! When broken, Seam collects their broken dreams and the crystal is purified.

That's why there's green magic around Seam's staff and the border is green, Gerson's crystal just got purified! At the end of the battle, the remains of the cleansed crystals form into the Pure Crystal, and Seam thanks you for one final chaos.

Seam gets to have a one-on-one talk with Kris throughout this battle, and it's revealed that they know a lot, and I mean A LOT. They are aware of Kris working with the Knight, and it's also revealed that they once belonged to Dess and Asriel.

While fighting a crystal, Seam transforms into the secret boss who owned it!!!

BY THE WAY!!! This concept is gonna be used for a Chapter 6 webcomic I'm making!!! I'm still writing it, but there's some stuff done for it! This ERAM fight concept is part of it too!

I've never quite liked the idea of Seam antagonizing us but would love a battle against them. This concept makes it a reality without them actually fighting against us, but rather with us, I love it

i'd like to think seam isn't actually evil here (like the subtweets suggest) they're just having a blast properly fighting someone that's why they happen to look scary

i really like this because of the fact we know that we can fight bosses in castle town now + they can have special mechanics

i feel like the only reason y all of these seam fight ideas wont happen is cuz of ch3. cuz whether u do eram or the knight it kinda detracts from either as characters since ur outsourcing development to this optional fight.

I'm intrigued to see a full boss concept out of this. Also, glad I'm NOT the only one who thinks that the Cyan soul should use a sword/knife. I was thinking it'd be like, combining Scampton the Great with the SWORD game where you parry/cut some attacks with the sword

This has to be my favorite concept for a Seam battle yet. I'm still not fully convinced that it will happen due to them only getting a full design so that merch could be made, but I'd still love for it to come true somehow 🙏

i am. SUCH a fan of this. of the art, of seam's depiction, the idea for the format and the story surrounding this concept... it makes me so so so happy to see how many people are excited about a possible seam boss fight

This is such a cool idea for the final fight in the Shadow Crystal quest! Idk how it's gonna go down, but I feel that we HAVE to have a Seam fight of some kind in Chapter 6

this is the exact kind of idea I've been thinking the Seam fight would go, it's not us really fighting Seam but more so helping Seam purify the Crystals

If Seam does get a battle in Chapter 6, I can totally see Seam and Kris taking advantage of battle mechanics to purify the Shadow Crystals using The Player's power as the Soul.

Ive had high hopes for a seam secret fight since the game first came out. Something like this would genuinely be the highlight of the game for me.
