Eli Crane “had the audacity to be disrespectful” to him • Declared Republicans “only have respect for law enforcement that supports their political agenda” • Claimed sending 500 National Guard to DC is just “optics” and “political scenery”, not actual safety • Said National Guard troops just “wander down residential streets” and “help with yard work” as props for the President’s “twisted agenda” • Accused Trump of pardoning “more than 1,500 January 6th rioters” (he hasn’t pardoned a single one yet) • Bragged that Newark violent crime is only down 23% while it remains one of the most dangerous cities in America This is the same party that spent years screaming “Defund the Police” and watched cities burn.
