Ye toh hona hi tha. I had predicted on a few occasions earlier that folks would eventually hit the road (I had said this especially during the political bandh in Pune). The day has come — taxpayers and white-collar workers hitting the streets, holding placards. Need efficiency, transparency and empathy towards the tax payers!

Need of the hour either go for privatisation of police where actions are promptly taken or amend the laws make police personnel more responsible and strong action being taken, if needed. Remove illegal joints and hutments. Charge culprits who are breaking traffic laws.

Thnks 2 the citizens noise population has come down they great extent. Otherwise the entire day we r disturbed by the construction works noise n by the evening the loudspeakers would take over. Now at least there is little peace in the evening. Can keep the doors n windows open.

Good one. Actually, the whole of mumbai is devastated with roads corruption. Its take 4 hrs for me to travel everyday to office up and down and even I know the pain.
