When he apologized, I immediately thought about ALL of the apologies that were given by January 6ers who were invited into the Capitol - doors held open for them by Capitol Police Officers…. Walked in - unarmed - INVITED. And they sit in jail. Yes….. apology or not…… GUILTY. Unless Bowman was “blind” that day, he has ZERO defense.

Thomas Massie, stood strong and passionately up for the children who died this week in Nashville. Bowman was a teacher in the Bronx and also founded a public middle school in the Bronx. Bowman was then a principal for a decade before running for Congress. “Calm down? Children are dying. Nine year old children!” Rep. Jamaal Bowman shouted at Massie. It's people like Bowman who we need leading us into the future. Thank you Congressman!
