Anyone who insists the border is secure has no credibility. I saw the border at Eagle Pass myself. It is a humanitarian and security crisis. It isn’t compassionate or helpful to those who are being exploited and extorted by traffickers. Cartels are making billions and taking advantage of the chaos. The lack of border policy has made this situation even worse and border security teams have an impossible task as they can’t stop those coming through.
