He was looking for self-reflection on her own party after focus group participants in her district labeled each party with animals. She thought a NYT reporter came up with the labels and lashed out at the host for giving oxygen to such a "ridiculous" topic. Her own constituents are the ones who called Democrats "tortoises, slugs, or sloths: slow, plodding, passive. The Democrats are like deer in headlights."
