Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei says Tehran has no plan for another round of negotiations with the Americans, stating “if the U.S. sends a team to Islamabad, that is a matter that concerns them.” “The Islamic Republic of Iran does not accept any deadlines or ultimatums to safeguard its national interests. We have clearly stated our red lines from the beginning, and we will not change our principled positions,” Baqaei said. “In none of the stages of current or previous negotiations was the issue of transferring Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles to the U.S. or any other country raised, and fundamentally this option is not on the agenda of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Rebuilding Venezuela’s oil infrastructure is not, and should never be, the responsibility of the American taxpayer. Reconstruction will take several years and could cost $100B or more, with any profits flowing straight to the oil companies, not to American families who are already struggling with high costs. Foreign policy decisions should be guided by our national security interests and the Constitution, not open-ended, risky commitments made after the fact. Taxpayer dollars should be invested here at home, building American clean, cheap energy.

Americans largely do not want our tax dollars funding Israeli bombs. It is clear now that Israel has committed a genocide in Gaza, and it is clear we broke our own laws funding it. But our legislators continue to give Israel a blank check because of money from the Israel lobby. That's why the issue of backing unconditional military funding to Israel has become a proxy for the larger question of who do you serve: people or money? I'm running for Congress to represent people, not any lobbyist or corporations.
