Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei says Tehran has no plan for another round of negotiations with the Americans, stating “if the U.S. sends a team to Islamabad, that is a matter that concerns them.” “The Islamic Republic of Iran does not accept any deadlines or ultimatums to safeguard its national interests. Rebuilding Venezuela’s oil infrastructure is not, and should never be, the responsibility of the American taxpayer. Reconstruction will take several years and could cost $100B or more, with any profits flowing straight to the oil companies, not to American families who are already struggling with high costs. Foreign policy decisions should be guided by our national security interests and the Constitution, not open-ended, risky commitments made after the fact. Taxpayer dollars should be invested here at home, building American clean, cheap energy.
