Democrats are NOT incentivized for Black Americans to do better. Democrats rely on the victimization of their voters. If their voters are no longer victims, democrats' jobs become much harder. If democrats can keep Black Americans thinking racism is a huge problem in the country, it's a very effective way to keep black votes. If black people keep struggling, this actually benefits dems as well because they can blame it on history, racism and the past. Which then allows democrats to continue to paint themselves as the ones who will fix these "problems'.

Another thing is that what Texas is doing under these new maps is that 4 of the 5 new seats will be majority Hispanic seats. So these are seats where Democrats are having to come to grips with the reality, and that is, they are now losing the votes of Hispanics and Black voters in the state of Texas.”

New Yorkers overwhelmingly voted to take politics out of the redistricting process by creating an independent commission, yet Albany Democrats continue looking for ways to manipulate congressional maps for their own political advantage. I've been consistent on this issue regardless of which party is in power - I opposed partisan gerrymandering in Florida and Texas, and I oppose it in New York. Voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around. The integrity of our elections depends on public trust, and that trust is eroded when politicians try to rig the system to protect their own power.

The deportations are taking population out of their states along with all the Americans who are leaving blue states and moving to red states. This isn’t them being so worried about people’s “rights”.
