Democrat Congresswoman Norma Torres is out here pushing amendments to ban “insurrectionists” from the federal payroll — targeting January 6 defendants. Not a single J6 defendant was ever charged or convicted of insurrection. Not one. But here’s the real kicker: Norma Torres wasn’t even born in this country. She came here from Guatemala as a child, naturalized later. She’s not a natural-born citizen. Only natural-born Americans should hold federal office in this country. Period. This is the same woman who has voted against strong border security, against ICE funding, and pushed policies that put illegal immigrants ahead of American citizens. She wants to strip rights from Americans over January 6 while defending open-border chaos that lets criminals pour into our country. She should be thankful she’s even here legally. Instead she sits in Congress smearing American citizens and trying to punish them for walking into the Capitol while protecting the very system that floods our nation with millions of illegals. Hypocrisy like this is exactly why so many Americans are fed up. Naturalized citizens have rights, but maybe it’s time we had a serious conversation about who should be making laws for the people born and raised in this country.
