Yes, yes and yes…The worst thing that ever happened to Black America was/is the Democratic Party! Just think about it..

Affirmative Action was supposed to make strides towards EQUALITY for people of color. Initially, it had good intentions and some positive outcomes. Integration replacing segregation. After all that’s what it was all about back then. Very soon it changed and the required quota did the opposite of the initial intentions. Quotas without expectations resulted in stagnation. Very little was expected and required from those who filled the quotas and very little was given in return. Efforts to improve quickly lost momentum when affirmative action became yet another type of hand out instead of an opportunity to earn your way. It stifled pride in oneself. [To me PRIDE means Professional Results In Daily Efforts. This 🇺🇸 is my PRIDE flag] Basically, affirmative action had good intentions but unfortunately, in the long term, it failed. Sad but true.
