Just a few corrections for context. In the 1960s and before, everyone wore a nice dress shirt, suit and hat when traveling anywhere in public. My old Italian grandfather in NYC was a ditch digger and always dress in a nice suit and hat when not working and in public.

50 million #FBA the US closed most embassies in Africa. A person in east Africa has to fly to the South Africa embassy to apply for a visa which may cost 15000.00 and they are going to be denied so it’s a wasted trip. Those Embassies will never reopen.
