[New Xbox Controller Review] #ad Special thanks to Qrdgame_offcial for supplying me with a review unit of their Ferrox M5 Xbox & PC Controller QRD Ferrox M5 The QRD Ferrox M5 is a Wireless Xbox One–style gamepad with a transparent design. Since it targets Xbox One natively, it works automatically on PC and Xbox Series S/X. The included 2.4Ghz USB Dongle also supports Switch and Android with the right adapter (USB C), but I was not able to test those in time for this review. A Wireless Xbox Controller The QRD FERROX M5 comes in a familiar Xbox layout with Hall Effect joysticks, RGB rings around the sticks, and a magnetic & detachable clear shell that shows the internals. The controller feels very similar to a standard Xbox pad in terms of shape and size, but it’s slightly lighter at compared to the usual Xbox controller weight. The lighter weight makes it easier to hold for longer sessions without hand fatigue. The D-Pad is surprisingly good at dialing special moves feels as solid and responsive as the official Xbox controller, and that’s impressive at a lower price point. I spent a few days trying out the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection exclusively using this controller and I did not notice any difference at all. Kitten update #10: It's moving day for the kitties. They've started to eliminate on their own in their little box, so they are now going into one of the old vizsla crates that is big enough for them, their heating pad, their litter box, wee pads, and some extra room to play and move around. The crate last housed the spring chicks so I was pretty paranoid about bleaching it down so we can keep cycling exotic viruses through birds, humans, dogs, and cats to a minimum. We also have our first name for a kitty. Dark Tortie is now known as Lilith, because she is a tiny adorable demon in cat skin. The kitties can still barely walk but Lilith is already trying to pounce on her siblings and responds to kisses with claws to the face. I'm sure wild-eyed zoomies are just a few weeks away. Busy morning here so relax with some ASMR bottle suckles for as long as you need.

When I moved back to Nigeria over a decade ago, I worked for VC-backed e-commerce platform Konga Nigeria where I got a first-hand education into consumer behavior in African markets at scale. Unlike the US where e-commerce meant paying in advance, online shopping at Konga generally meant customers placed orders but didn't pay for them until the goods arrived, were inspected, and ultimately accepted. Of course, those orders could be rejected, too. And many were. Up to a third were returned if memory serves correctly. Fast-forward ten plus years to today, and Jumia Group still relies heavily on that industry demon. So I asked Jumia CEO Francis Dufay why pay-on-delivery is still necessary — in today's future-forward world of fintech, AI, and drones. His response reflects a broader lesson about building in African markets that he later made explicit: Accept your market as it is, not as you wish it to be. In fact, if you study the Bible carefully, you can see many ways in which God designs to use evil things – natural evil, moral evil, supernatural evil – for His own purposes, even eternal evil, sometimes to bring fear and terror and conviction on the unregenerate, sometimes to bring chastisement and discipline on God’s people, sometimes to humble them. And in the case of Job, He turned Satan loose for horrendous evil in the life of Job. You remember that Jesus said to Peter one day, “Satan desires to have you that he may sift you like wheat”? Remember that, Luke 22? And if I’d had been Peter I’d have said, “Well, you told him no, right?” Jesus said, “Actually, I told him yes, have at him.” What? “So that when you’re converted, you can strengthen the brethren.” There’s a remedial purpose in this. “As you come through that difficulty and come out the other side, you’re going to be able to strengthen the brethren.”It was 2 Corinthians 12 where Paul says, “There was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan.” A lot of discussion about what that is. Pretty clear. Messenger is aggelos. A satanic messenger is a what; a demon. I don’t think Paul had a demon in his life, I think that’s the demon that was leading the false teachers who were ripping and shredding the Corinthian church, and Paul prayed three times that it might be removed, and the Lord didn’t remove it.
