The *Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO)* has confirmed the arrest of Dennis Miracles Aboagye in connection with alleged financial and procurement irregularities amounting to approximately *GH¢55 million* during his tenure as former Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation (IMCCoD). Mr. Aboagye was apprehended alongside Gerald Appiah, the former accountant of the IMCCoD Secretariat. In a statement released on Monday, July 13, 2026, EOCO disclosed that the arrests stem from an ongoing investigation into suspected misappropriation, misapplication, diversion, and theft of public funds at the Secretariat.
