#WATCH | Indian Army’s Major Rajprasad RS of the Corps of Engineers (7 Engineer Regiment) has developed an indigenous Multi Utility Unmanned Ground Vehicle called “Sapperscout Ver 2.0”. This is the 12th innovation developed by Major Rajprasad, of which 04 have already been inducted into the Indian Army over the last two years. The Sapperscout 2.0 UGV is the first in-house UGV developed in India for Multi Utility Role, including capabilities like Mine Detection, Payload Carriage, Recce & Surveillance, Vehicle-based Mine scattering, Casualty Evacuation and also provides modularity to configure the UGV for mounting multiple kinds of payloads like Weapons, C-UAS System, etc. The UGV is an all-terrain platform which is 6-wheeled, independently driven, with articulated suspension. Pakistan’s Balochistan is witnessing a fresh wave of attacks on security forces, with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claiming responsibility for two separate attacks around Ziarat Cross and Surab. The BLA says its Fateh Squad targeted a Pakistani Army convoy, destroying two of four vehicles and killing 18 personnel. In a separate attack in Surab’s Hajika area, the BLA claims its Special Tactical Operations Squad remotely detonated an explosives-laden vehicle, destroying a security forces vehicle and killing seven personnel. This #DeepStrike was conducted over 800 km from Ukraine’s state border. The Kirishi Oil Refinery is the main supplier of petroleum products for St. Petersburg, as well as Leningrad, Novgorod, and Pskov oblasts. Its processing capacity exceeds 20 million tons of oil per year, making it the second-largest refinery in the country after the Omsk refinery. The plant produces about 80 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and jet fuel, and is directly involved in supplying the Russian army with fuel. As a result of the drone strike, a large fire broke out at the facility, confirmed by NASA FIRMS satellite monitoring data. Battle damage assessment is ongoing.
