Simplest way would be to just make sure that all vehicles have all of the properties set to undefined. That way the shape of all of the objects is same.

@manucorporat Chrome dev tools have a similar implementation; if you run a performance recording; and then go into source; you Can see how Long time each Line takes to execute :)
