He knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. Dreadful man.

Dreadful from Barry Hearn. But well done to Ken Doherty for speaking for many.

Not depressing at all, it's realism. Fairplay to the bloke, never beats around the bush and at least he's being honest with people.

Hardly a new approach from the Hearns.... Wembley can sell out for the boxing but the Saudis will pay hundreds of millions so a few thousand elites can watch it. Short term greed is a dangerous thing.

What a load of bollocks, the reason people are drawn to the game is because of venues with the history of the crucible, the players want to be part of it to, he’s conditioning people to just let it happen so he can reap the rewards for himself

If all the fish and chip shops shut down because the business was simply not profitable anymore and they were replaced by e.g. Japanese takeaways,he would be the first to complain about losing tradition, heritage, emotional connection etc.

Does he really want peoples final memory of him as being the man who sold snookers soul to the Middle East
