AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A GUY PROTECTING HIS GIRLFRIEND FROM BUMPING INTO JIHOON’S HIGH ENERGY BODY EUSHSJSH HE WAS PROTECTING HIS GIRLFRIEND NOT HIM 😭😭😭😭 he thought he was having his y/n moment im cackling 🐶 thinking about it now, since it was standing, i was pushing forward getting pushed around pushing people back getting pushed backward. u know, just constantly pushing and getting pushed 🐶 but at some point, maybe about an hour after the show started? 🐶 everyone started headbanging together. we were all headbanging and then… i felt this really gentle hand behind me. someone was kind of supporting me while headbanging. i could feel this really gentle touch on my back 🐶 i was thinking to myself “what is this?” u know? i was just doing my thing, doing what I came there to do, just going crazy and all that 🐶 but from then on whenever i was watching the show and we were jumping around or doing something, i kept feeling this really gentle hand behind me. like this really considerate hand 🐶 so i thought “ is this person worried about me? are they looking out for me?” 🐶 then during “Stand Out Fit In” when everyone was trying to put their arms around each other’s shoulders.. i turned around. i thought “ah i should see who this person is” 🐶 i turned around because i wanted to put my arm around this person’s shoulder.. with the thought that “who is this person that keeps taking care of me like this?” 🐶 but then I realized… the guy was actually holding his girlfriend in his arms. and because i was being so freaking intense, he was blocking me so that i wouldn’t bump into his girlfriend 🐶 i guess his left and right sides were just synchronized, you know? his left arm and right arm were moving together, so while he was taking care of his girlfriend like this, that same motion ended up taking care of me too. 🐶 “AH SO THAT’S WHY” and i got all embarrassed. like “ah okay that makes sense” feeling kinda awkward 🐶 he had his girlfriend tucked right into his arms, holding her close, and then he was using his right arm to support me”

I want it all done yesterday. I hope for a better conversation about health and medicine in our country, and it feels like it is moving excruciatingly slow. I know so many others who have either given up hope that it will ever change or have said that all of it was a scam. There’s a feeling rumbling underneath the MAHA movement that none of the efforts were worth it, because the odds are insurmountable. But in my better moments, I realize our country does not move quickly on anything. In other times, I would say that the glacial-like movement of government is a built-in blessing because it stops radicalization and instability. But I also understand why people feel the way they do after the last bunch of years. I have huge desires to see things go as fast as they can away from the cliff, and at far too many moments it feels like we are headed over Niagara Falls and all we have to paddle with is a teaspoon. When I saw the Big Pharma playbook yesterday circulating on X and Substack, I was reminded that what Secretary Kennedy is up against is significant. I was so enthusiastic about his campaign and his work. I trusted that the wilderness he was walking into was something he could handle. But I underestimated how much hard work there would be, and in it, how much resistance and force of a corrupt bureaucracy would be in his way. Someone reached out yesterday and asked if they could send me some videos of them encouraging RFK Jr. - just so he might know that while nothing in this government will ever be perfect, many of us still feel that his presence in Washington is better than most of us have had in all of our politcal experiences. So, Bobby, here are just a few voices that are alongside for the ride, and are holding fast to the idea that even if it is slow, seemingly impossible, and frustrating, the results of his presence in that dark town are a blessing to America. The second movement (Adagio) of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622, possesses a similar beauty. After Days of Wandering, the Blind Dog Finally Found a Lap to Rest Its Head Against 🐶❤️‍🩹 A man was walking along the road when he came across an abandoned stray dog. The dog had once had an owner, but had later been abandoned and left to wander on its own. What caught the man’s attention most was that the dog could not see. Moved by its circumstances, he decided to take it home. As soon as the dog was lifted into his arms, it did something that immediately drew attention. Instead of trying to escape from the arms of a complete stranger, it pressed its body against the man, rested its head against his chest and remained still. 🔥 💣 I’ve decided to “fire” myself after 14 years as CEO of CB Insights I'll still be working 180% at CBI but now in the role of Founder & Executive Chairman. In this role, my focus shifts to customer conversations, product, content & partnerships. One area I'll be spending a isht ton of time on is generative AI. The video below highlights the AI-driven research analyst we’ve been working on. And this is just the start more here on Analyst >> For those interested in “the why” behind this move, below are my comments to our team from our All Hands last week. Note: I'll intro CBI's new CEO tmw - his official 1st day --ALL HANDS-- Earlier this morning, I sent an email about my vision for the product from 2017. It relates to the news that I will share with you this AM. And that is that I have decided to "fire" myself as CEO and will be transitioning to the role of founder & exec chairman. Why? For 2 reasons: 1. Zone of genius 2. Delivering on the 2017 sci-fi vision 1st - Let's talk about zone of genius Talking to customers, hearing about their challenges and translating that to what we can build to make them supernatural is what I love. It’s where my "zone of genius" is As we’ve grown, however, I’m spending more time outside this zone If CBI is an organism, the early days required spending all my time outside the organism talking to customers, building dope isht for them, getting more customers & then building more dope isht. Rinse & repeat. It was 'simple' As the organism has grown, I've had to live "inside the organism" more focused on operations & management - 1:1s, annual planning, process mgmt, etc. These are incredibly important to scale a company. They are, however, not where my strengths and interests lie. I like the unknowns & novelty of what living outside the organism brings. And so I wanted to find a way to get back to those things. That’s the zone-of-genius bit. Now let’s turn to the sci-fi vision That vision really wasn’t possible. Until now. In Nov ‘22, chatGPT was an 'oh isht' moment. Since then, I’ve been fully red-pilled on GAI. With it, we can now actually deliver on that 2017 vision. Only 6 years later :) And so it’s go-time! I’m incredibly excited about what this will mean for our customers, the company and our team as it will enable us to: * Invest dramatically in product innovation * Open up new career opportunities & pathways for you all * Bring people together in person more often Where will I be focused? My job in the near term is to help onboard and integrate the new CEO. The areas you’ll still me involved in are: * Customer conversations -- #1 thing. * Research & content -- Writing the newsletter & other content w/ the team * Product -- Pushing our GAI agenda. * Partnerships I am not stepping off the field onto the sidelines. I was one of the beagles at Ridglin Farms, bred for a life I didn’t understand, a life filled with fear. I couldn’t see the others, but I could hear them. I could smell them. We were all the same—waiting, afraid. The metal bars of my cage were my whole world, and when the noise, the footsteps, and the fear got too much, I did the only thing I knew to do—I spun. Around and around, in tight circles, my paws moving fast beneath me. It was the only way I could stop the fear from crushing me, the only thing that helped when I didn’t know what else to do. The humans in white coats didn’t notice. They never did. They would come, take one of us away, and that beagle would never come back the same. Or they wouldn’t come back at all. The air was thick with anxiety, and when it filled me too much, I would spin. I’d spin and spin until the world stopped feeling so heavy. Then, one night, something different happened. I heard footsteps again, but these were softer, quicker. They didn’t sound like the humans I was used to. My ears twitched, and I pressed my body against the cage, trying to understand what was happening. Then, I felt a hand—gentle and warm in a way that wasn’t scary. It was different from the cold hands of the humans in white coats. I froze, unsure of what to do. “We’re here to help you,” a voice whispered. I wanted to trust them, but my heart was racing. My paws itched to spin, to make the anxiety go away, but the door to my cage opened, and I felt a different kind of space around me. I was one of the beagles at Ridglin Farms, bred for a life I didn’t understand, a life filled with fear. I couldn’t see the others, but I could hear them. I could smell them. We were all the same—waiting, afraid. The metal bars of my cage were my whole world, and when the noise, the footsteps, and the fear got too much, I did the only thing I knew to do—I spun. Around and around, in tight circles, my paws moving fast beneath me. It was the only way I could stop the fear from crushing me, the only thing that helped when I didn’t know what else to do. The humans in white coats didn’t notice. They never did. They would come, take one of us away, and that beagle would never come back the same. Or they wouldn’t come back at all. The air was thick with anxiety, and when it filled me too much, I would spin. I’d spin and spin until the world stopped feeling so heavy. Then, one night, something different happened. I heard footsteps again, but these were softer, quicker. They didn’t sound like the humans I was used to. My ears twitched, and I pressed my body against the cage, trying to understand what was happening. Then, I felt a hand—gentle and warm in a way that wasn’t scary. It was different from the cold hands of the humans in white coats. I froze, unsure of what to do. “We’re here to help you,” a voice whispered. I wanted to trust them, but my heart was racing. My paws itched to spin, to make the anxiety go away, but the door to my cage opened, and I felt a different kind of space around me. They lifted me out, cradling me in their arms, and I trembled—not because I was cold, but because I didn’t know what would happen next. The air outside was like nothing I’d ever felt before. What I do have is … a 6’8 3&D forward. High motor. Unselfish. Excellent touch (38% 3PT, 84% FT). I stopped making highlight tapes and am more focused on Game clips that tell more of the story. This is for real basketball heads with vision and eye for development. But he’s ready to help a program NOW. 19 years old. All conference Potential as a defender. Notice in these clips how discipline he is staying in the ground vs. pump fakes… even with a FORTY-SIX inch vertical. No exaggeration. He is excellent in help rotations. Truly defends 1-5. But isn’t just a dumb athlete jumping all over the place. Gives 100% effort to run back in transition to alter shots. Will be the most athletic player on the team as a freshman. Speed and vertical Is an excellent cutter off the ball. 45 cutter and corner Lob threat. There’s no defense for a paint touch and throwing the ball over the square. If you have good guards he can account for 5 assists a game. His shooting is what’s most impressive to me. Has ability to be 40% 3pt shooter because of great shot selection.. mechanics and touch. Strong rebounder offensively and defensively. Also what makes him special is his ability to Guard other teams scoring point guards. He will win the matchup. I’ve seen him Shut down 4/5 stars all year Coaches interested in still taking freshman you won’t find one much better than him as far as adding him on to a good culture team and being able to count on him right away. 6’8 195lb with a frame To hold 205-210 next year. There’s a Little Sunshine From the 1950s in This Performance Some videos only need a few seconds to tell you that you’re going to watch the whole thing. Hetty and the Jazzato Band’s performance of “Mambo Italiano” is one of them. What caught my attention first wasn’t really the song. It was the look. The two women appear in full-skirted dresses, with hairstyles and makeup that immediately bring the 1950s to mind. The vintage tone makes the stage look almost like a scene from an old film. But what I find interesting is that they don’t look like people trying too hard to play characters from another era. They seem quite natural, even a little playful. Then Hetty starts singing.
