Whether or not you think Derek chauvin is somehow "responsible" for George Floyd's death is not actually the question. The question is whether you think he's guilty of murder, which he clearly is not.

I disagree! I hope he's pardoned!! I don't have any doubt George Floyd died of a drug OVERDOSE! That couldn't be predicted by Derek Chauvin.

I watched your video. I am torn. I do have a question though, do you think he had a fair trial? That alone makes me think perhaps he should be pardoned. Between the media and the politics of the situation I don't think there was a chance of a fair trial. They should have changed the venue. They also let our country burn over it. Floyd swallowed drugs so he couldn't be charged with them. They called for medical 36 seconds into Floyd being on the ground. EMS went to the wrong address. I agree Chauvin was neglectful. He definitely should have put him in the recovery position. I also wonder if pressure from the gathering crowd affected things. I guess, to be honest, I just don't know. No one won that day. It was a tragedy all the way around and we all paid for it.

Brother T, I can't fathom why you think Chauvin wasn't innocent. Outside of not having an ambulance there to get him treated for OD there is nothing outside of subduing a neurotic frequent flyer that any average officer would do...

Just watch The Fall of Minneapolis. His trial was the biggest railroading ever perpetrated to the American public. Had he been anything but white he would've received no more than a slap on the wrist cause "the thin blue line" usually protect their own.

All he did was ask people to step back (as he is trained to do) while Derek Chauvin pinned Floyd down. There is no way Tou could have known the criminal behind him was overdosing. It isn’t easy to act perfectly anyway when adrenaline is pumping in the moment like that. You never know if someone you are arresting has a buddy with a gun about to show up… it was imperative for him to be vigilant of the surroundings instead of focusing on the other officer’s job. Even if the teen had a gun, and even if that gun fell during the chase, the bigger question is whether he had reason to fear for his own life once grown men were pursuing him away from the store. From his perspective, he may not have known what they intended to do. He could have believed they were chasing him to beat him, hold him, or even kidnap him. In that situation, it is fair to ask whether he also had a right to defend himself. The focus should not only be on whether he had a gun. The focus should also be on why he was chased off the property in the first place and whether the people chasing him created the danger that led to the shooting.

Besides, I am not qualified to advise anyone on planet Earth since I am often unable to advise myself. But, if I were Trump, I would not waste time granting interviews on classified documents since the case is in court. Every interview may simply be used as a trap. An indictment is made up of alarming allegations that can crumble in court. Trying to argue your case in the media is a waste of time and an easy way to give ammunition to your opponents and prosecutors. Once a question on classified documents is brought up, politely say that since the case is in court, you have been advised not to discuss it and then bring your best defense in court; the case will then crumble there. But who am I? I am just an observer, and I am not qualified to advise anyone, nor am I interested in advising anyone. However, it's my little belief that any campaign manager or lawyer who advises their client to grant interviews on a case that is in court, a case that is being seen as politically motivated, may not be doing a great job. But, again, I may be wrong; I have been wrong many times in the past, and I may be wrong again here. May God help us.

She asks him to step out of the vehicle for her own safety. He questions why and claims she’s taking his money, but she says he is only getting a warning. So who is right? Should he step out because he was asked, or is there reason for him to ask why? If he’s just getting a warning, should she write it and send him on his way? We now live in a country where someone is publicly stripped, paraded publicly, forced to kneel and apologize publicly in front of a palace because he ‘insulted’ the king. The Oba of Benin is a revered king. He has a responsibility to uphold the sanctity of not only his throne, but the dignity of his people, including the dignity of those who disagree with him or offend him. Humiliating a citizen in this manner does not bring glory to the palace or the king, it diminishes the prestige of the Oba and his throne. We should not allow thuggery to define the very respected crown of the Oba of Benin. If the Oba does not disavow this crude and primitive action, it will send a wrong and dangerous message. I do not know Dr. Pedro Obaseki. I’m not familiar with whatever he may have said or done that offended some people. I don’t care about the underlying politics. But no citizen should be humiliated in this manner. The Nigeria Police Force has a responsibility to act in this case. The culprits should be dealt with according to law.
