No one make their guitar sing quite like Derek. And somehow he just keeps getting better. One of a kind.

His timing and phrasing is otherworldly. He is ridiculously talented but shamefully under recognized. His name should be mentioned every time we talk about a list of the greatest guitar players.

Damn this took me right back to the Allman Brothers band playing at Fillmore West in San Francisco, 1971. Derek’s uncle Butch on drums with Duane Allman on the slide guitar. I did not know they were going to be recording the live album. I was there!

He and his wife, Susan Tedeschi are continuing the tradition of blues.

Gonna see Tedeschi Trucks later this month in Nashville! Can't wait woo hoo!!

I did not want that to stop. Among the greatest!!!
