But yet he is there to promote his republican candidacy. Nothing more. He pushes racist hate. He pushes guns.

Good. He shouldn’t be there in the first place.

What a shame that an African-American female member of the Jacksonville City Council rescued Ron DeSantis from the heckling he deserved. That’s essentially like the Lieberman hug. He looked incredibly taken back and didn’t know what to do. She saved him.

Bullets don't know parties---but DeSantis' policies have created an environment that encourages violence against black people. You can't ERASE an entire race's history while at the same time, allowing any mentally ill person easy access to guns. DeSantis has blood on his hands.

Little Ronnie’s policies helped make this shooting happen.

He deserves that and more. Now that he’s a federal candidate he can’t pick and choose his audience or even the media outlet. He’s probably out of his element here. At first he gives who ever DARED to interrupt him the stink eye. I hope @grantstern was there to witness Ron’s capitulation to the audience and the media.

Ron and Casey triggered by the boos. DeSantis has targeted the black community with his policies to garner the support of the white nationalists base of the GOP. I disagree with the Councilwoman. The gunman’s bullet knew exactly what color of skin and party to target.

He has done and said more stuffs against blacks of late in Florida. What did he expect?

With all due respect to the lady who took the microphone, DeSantis has not done one thing as governor to make people safer from gun violence - that's politics.

He's the reason it happened.
