I mean narrative is mostly just a fetch quest going from one mcguffin to another (standard video game writing) The atmosphere/style is the real appeal

i haven't played any of them since like middle school so that may very well be true. i just remember asylum being the one game i genuinely enjoyed, had a strong sense of place and atmosphere and the narrative wasn't completely fucking boring

Ratchet 2016 is a remake of the original in the worst possible, sanding off all edges kind of way. Dunkey also had the same anti-art attitude to the sotc remake.

@copperCity17 1. Counters don't deal damage until you build up a combo of x3 or more. You will literally be here forever. 2. This is a random group of unarmed enemies in the overworld 3. Every single other enemy type (besides baseball bats who are basically unarmed) is immune to counters

Some twat did the same with Shadow of Mordor and it's always the same dumb example. "Here's me in the easiest area of the game with a single enemy type spamming their natural counter! Wooah! It works!" It completely ignores every different enemy type that shows up later that forces you to do something different instead.
