That Howard can even use the word humanitarian and not be questioned is outrageous. The Coalition when in government have ruthlessly cut foreign aid programs. Julie Bishop when Foreign Minister made the biggest ever cut to foreign aid expenditure of 33%. Alexander Downer who was Foreign Minister during the entire Howard government cut foreign aid during that time by 10%. But according to Howard supplying these countries with our fossil fuels for our profit is humanitarian. This is how Liberals think.
