THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT - How do we fix our broken government? 1. Term Limits 2. Congress is paid the median salary of the state they represent. 3. No more traveling to DC How do we do all of this - Have you ever heard of ZOOM? There is no reason for the politicians to travel back-n-forth to DC. No payment for traveling to other countries - There is no reason for these politicians going to some place like Paris - They are not foreign dignitaries or some International Peace Organization - They need to represent their state. 4. Single issue bills - There is no reason to vote on many issues at a time - If a bill can't pass on its own merit, then it should not be passed. 5. When a member of Congress speaks to the media or the American people - it's assumed they are under oath, and they can be charged for perjury for lying to the American people and the jury made up of people from the state they represent and if found guilty they will immediately be removed from Congress.

Officers are supposed to be trained to use only the amount of force that is reasonably necessary to make an arrest or protect life — not to break people’s arms, shoot them, or kill them when there is no immediate threat. When a person is unarmed and not posing a clear danger, the law does not give officers a blank check to use extreme, injuring force; that kind of conduct can violate both department policy and the Constitution. In a situation like this, the focus should be on why de‑escalation and safer control techniques were not used, and why an arrest ended with a serious injury instead of a safe resolution.

UPDATE from Universal Ostrich Farms: Mike and I took FOB SMITH to the RCMP command post. There is a lot of fencing and a lot of bins there today but far less vehicles and police than usual. There is still no official ostrich count and no indication that CFIA or RCMP will be doing one. Mike and I are continuing to gather evidence, we are looking for the truth. There is zero transparency here and a lot of things in place that make it appear there is something to hide. CFIA or the RCMP could easily put many of these questions to rest with a count of the birds and a sliver of transparency.
